The Galería OE is a family artisan workshop that was born from the union of the artist Oscar González and his partner Elena Ainsa. In the ‘90s when this couple settled in Lanzarote, they started this project together to found this gallery to showcase and sell the pieces that they make.

In the beginning, the gallery was located in Playa Quemada, an area in the southeast of Lanzarote. It is currently at number 11 of Notas street in Teguise, the former capital of Lanzarote.

At the Galería OE you can find diverse handmade decorative or dining pieces such as pitchers, dishes, bottles, and picture frames. You can also purchase or commission Oscar González paintings and murals.

The pieces are original and are made with natural sands, pigments, and volcanic ashes of Lanzarote.

The style of the works that Oscar and Elena have created has been well-received in Lanzarote and is even considered “typical of the island.” Being pioneers in this field, they have served as inspiration for other artists that have shaped their work based on this technique.
